  1. I have installed VirtualBox on Windows 7. Xubuntu VM is running and can connect to the internet. I would like to have the VM connected to VPN, while I use Windows 7 host with my normal ISP. I setup OpenVPN client on Xubuntu, it can connect to VPN but then there is no access to the internet. I tried to change network adapted, NAT, Bridged & Host Only. Same issue on the 1st 2, no internet at all with host only. No issues with firewall, on or off has the same results. When VPN is connected on host there is no problem at all (both host&guest), but then I don't want my browser and online games to connect through it. Am I missing something? Maybe port forwarding needs to be setup? Or different config files from the config generator? I hoped that this VM setup would be easier, rather than binding apps and routes to a NIC as explained in other guides. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.
