Hello! I've followed your tutorial to get AirVPN on my NVIDIA Shield with Eddie sideloaded and it seems to work. It shows I'm connected to a swrvwr in Oslo. I port forwarded through your website. Requested a port, got a number. When I click "Test Open", it works, and says "Open!". I then followed the Reddit tutorial to bind BiglyBT (android) to a VPN /r/VPNTorrents/comments/ppmnax/howto_safely_torrent_on_android_with_biglybt Everything went smoothly. No hiccups. When I clicked the correct "tun" to bind, BiglyBT loaded for a bit and seemed to work 100%. I tried two things. Firdt was adding the name lf the "extra" interface that appears when I'm connected to AirVPN (it's always tun0 for me). I'm assuming that's a zero, kot an O. And I also tried to add the name of the tunnel that shows up in Eddie's interface: wg0 in BiglyBT's config to bind. Neither worked. I also added the same port allocated by AirVPN to the BiglyBT configs as well as the options suggested there: "Check bind ... on startup" and "Enforce IP bindings ..." and "Pause downloads on loss on binding". Now, however, when I try to torrent anything, the download never starts. It stays on 0%. I get no tracker errors or anything. Trying to download Ubuntu, added it 29 minutes ago, still nothing. Any idea of what I could do to debug lr what is wrong? Thank you for the help

Maybe I just never noticed before but while only downloading some torrents, Eddie shows that I am sending 2-3 Mbits/s also. Even though I am not uploading anything according to qBittorrent. Is this normal and I just never noticed it?

ok, I've tried... but even after reading the support materials and forum posts here I'm still not able to get torrents to work. Download speeds, when I'm able to get a packet or two through, are in the single- to double-digit Kb/s. Where I'm at: QNAP NAS running current firmware and QVPN client, with an OpenVPN connection profile generated via the AirVPN client area, using one of the ports in the TLS range. Port forwarded through that same client area, with a successful TCP Test, NO port forwarding on my Asus RT-AC68U router. Using Transmission as my torrent client, listening on the forwarded port, which indicated the listed port is 'open'. Port forwarding and uTP are disabled in Transmission, encryption is set to 'allow' (vs. 'prefer' or 'require', the only two other options). When I visit ipleak.net and use the magnet link for torrent address detection, Transmission shows that the 'Tracker returned a warning', but lists the AirVPN IP address I'm connected to on the NAS. The same address, as well as the correct forwarded port, show up in the ipleak.net Torrent Address Detection results. I don't know what the expected behavior is of that test torrent, and if it's supposed to actually download a test file. In my case, it's stuck on 'retrieving metadata'. What am I missing? Why am I not able to download torrent files, while I'm not having any issues with NZB downloads? Is it possible that my ISP is doing some sort of detection and throttling torrent downloads, despite this setup?

Almost "cracked" 300mbps a few minutes ago on one server, pushing it to #1 in top speed. (Basically almost maxing out my line speed) Whatever magic AirVPN's servers are doing, it works bloody fast ! Another big THANK YOU from me ! So, not spending too many words. Here's two pictures.

hi, over the last couple of days I've noticed that I cannot download/upload torrents while connected to airvpn. has something changed? has airvpn stopped supporting torrents?

As of the last two days I'm having issues with the Vuze client and torrents downloading correctly via the USA servers. Most things are showing 0 peers and 0 seeds with them rarely getting a hit and the icons stay blue (signifying that the tracker is down) but this isn't the case (I tried one torrent external of airVPN and it worked fine). It's been working great for weeks and has suddenly screamed to a halt Also some basic fault finding: Everything else is working (browsing, etc. I don't use other torrent clients though) It works with airVPN turned off. The "VPN Helper for AirVPN" plugin I have with-in Vuze reports "VPN OK!" and that all my outbound addresses are the US server. I've tried all three US servers (Merope, Sabik, Alkes) - they all fail. It works perfectly via the Singaporean server (Antares). Any suggestions?

Hello everybody. I'm having trouble with my torrent client. Whenever I start a torrent it will be capped around 35kbs. When I change the max connection to around 2 it will go full speed (of the uploaders) then stay there for a little while and gradually go down again to 35kbs. Now if I change the max connection again to for instance 5 it will go full speed again and the same thing happens. It doesn't matter if I set the max connections to 1,2,3,4,5,6 or a bit higher but every time I change it the speed seems to come back up and then drop again to avarage around 35/40kbs If i put the connections to let's say 100 it will drop to around 15kbs Mind you I have no problems downloading without VPN. My current setup is this: I connect through the Airvpn client through UDP:443 automatically to the best server automatically in Sweden. I have forwared 2 port numbers. 1 for incoming 1 for outgoing and specified this in my client. If I test the port in the client it give a green OK. My torrent client is Deluge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For nearly the past week I have not been able to connect or download anything from public trackers (openbittorrent, istole.it, publicbt, rarbg, demonii, etc) which is one of the biggest reasons why I even subscribe to AirVPN. Torrents that show hundreds of seeds on sites like KickAss, ThePirateBay, and others just sit at 0 seeds on my client now - unable to connect (as others continue to leave comments on those torrents about how "perfect" they are), while torrents that I obtain from several other private trackers immediately connect to seeds and download normally. Prior to a week ago, this problem never existed, and nothing has changed about my setup - as I've been a subscriber of AirVPN for going on two years now without this problem. After troubleshooting the issue on Google, I'm wondering: Has AirVPN recently been blacklisted by the public trackers? I also recently noticed now that several sites that I used to visit with no issue are now saying that I am connecting to them through Tor when I'm running AirVPN, and a few sites now give me an error message saying "site down - try again later", but when I disconnect from AirVPN there is no problem with the site (this never happened before this week either). Has AirVPN recently made any changes that may possibly be preventing me from being able to connect to public trackers and other sites that I previously had no problems connecting to? Is AirVPN now being blacklisted also by certain secure sites (as well as public trackers)? It would seem that I can't be the only one experiencing this issue.

Hi everyone, I'm new to VPN and needed it because I have received a friendly note from my isp about the torrents I downloaded, plus that I wanted to watch programs on UK tv channels (I live in Germany). The BBC iPlayer and Sky Go etc work beautifully; if I download a show from the BBC I get 1.5 - 3 mbs, perfect. However, I barely get 500kbs on uTorrent (and this fluctuates up and down) compared to the 3 - 3.5 mbs i get when AirVPN is switched off. I have read the forum for hours and have found no solution that works e.g. port forwarding, disabling my windows firewall, etc I am running Windows 7 64bit using windows firewall and have a Fritzbox 7390 as a router connected by cable. Is it possible, for a network/VPN numpty as myself to have an absolute "How to" on getting the best configuration for a windows system using uTorrent. I went on vacation for two weeks, and came back to find that my torrents can neither download nor upload when connected to some (all?) US servers. I have specifically tried Andromedae, Sirius, and all United States with UDP 443 and not been able to achieve any data transfer at all (though sometimes my torrent client shows that peers are connected), and all United States with UDP 53 seems severely hampered. Here are my speeds: No VPN: 1.26M/10K US Andromedae, US Sirius UDP 443: 0K/0K All United States UDP 53: 150K/0K NL Orionis UDP 443: 600K/10K I am using TunnelBlick 3.2.6, though I don't think that matters. What's going on?
