Eddie GUI not starting on Fedora Asahi Remix 44 (aarch64)

I downloaded the corresponding RPM v2.26.2 and installed it with Discover.
When clicking the app, the jumping symbol next to the mouse pointer appears and also the taskbar icon, but after 7-8 seconds both vanish.
Any help appreciated.
