FreeBSD dhclient failing with qemu KVM?

I can't get FreeBSD to work with the kill switch enabled, without it I can get a connection just fine. Allow LAN / Private, DHCP, ping is enabled in the eddie-ui client settings. Linux mint works fine for VMs, but the connection also seems to break with lubuntu.

Any ideas anybody?

The DNS resolves and it's reaching the host but the client doesn't get a response, I think iptables firewall rules must be blocking it.
Tried enabling gateway 192.168.122.0/24 in allowed/ips setting Eddie-UI but no luck so far. So it's resolving fine, transmitting they just never reach back.
