GUI not opening after upgrading to 2.26.2-1 on the AUR

On Manjaro (Arch), on the AUR the "eddie-ui" package was updated on 2026-08-27 13:13 (UTC). After building this package version 2.26.2-1 (via yay) and rebooting, can no longer open the GUI. Clicking the icon (in KDE) does nothing. Running "eddie-ui" in the CLI produces this error message:

The file /usr/lib/mscorlib.dll is an invalid CIL image

When I left WinBlows I thought I had left DLL Hell for good 🤬

I found this old but similar topic from our resident Tech Jedi Alex and tried "using the force" with 

yay -S --rebuildtree eddie-ui

but to no avail - same error.  Anyone have any troubleshooting advice? From that same post I saw this advice so here's the output from that:
