Unable to obtain elevated privileges (required) with v2.24

Cannot use 2.24 on my Win7 system (no, not going 10 or 11), even when deleting the Eddie folder from Local app data and rebooting. Downgrading to 2.18 works but it only shows six US access points instead of the usual 20 or so. Any suggestions? Have tried running as admin.

I had the same problem on Win7 and tried several versions.
I got it working by uninstalling it, deleting the profile folder in AppData\Local, restarting the pc and running the
eddie-ui_2.24.6_windows-7_x64_installer version as Admin.
Now all the servers show up again.
