MikeHawkener 0 Posted ... the help documentation just says "for non-interactive mode" I was wonder if it might be a feature that batch uses different servers? like rotates them every certain amount of time so you don't use the same server over a long period time ? Is there any feature in Eddie that allows this? Quote Share this post Link to post

You must interact with it for it to do something. If you provide --batch, Eddie parses the arguments literally; if something is missing, defaults are used or an error is thrown. MikeHawkener 0 Posted ... thanks @Tech Jedi Alex I figured that with so little no documentation, it wouldn't provide a feature like that. I just couldn't understand any use case for the batch mode as currently implemented. you could just add 'connect' ('connect=True') and it'll automatically connect. I mean 2 options 'x' and 'n' makes the interactive mode almost irrelevant. you can always do Ctrl-C, so now you don't need 'x', 'n' would be useful if you could cycle servers in the servers.allowlist. but it usually just reconnects to the same server. oh well I guess it'll be fun making my own scripts Quote Share this post Link to post
