The FBI, Defense Criminal Investigative Service, and Department of Commerce have issued a public service announcement regarding the 911 S5 residential proxy service and botnet.
Free VPN apps like MaskVPN, DewVPN, and others were created to connect to the 911 S5 botnet, unknowingly making users victims by enabling criminals to reroute traffic through their devices.
