ANSWERED Question about using Network Lock

Hello
1. I have Eddie installed and configured (it's working)
2. I have Open VPN Gui installed and working (it's working)

When I use connect to a server from Eddie it's working fine
When I Use Connect from Open VPN it works fine as well
but
How can I connect a VPN and use a networklock simultaneously?
IN eddie I can either choose to connect or to lock network - it confuses me a lot.

Network Lock can be used with other VPN software, it's just not recommended. Or rather, there are little test cases. So use Eddie.
Having written that, Network Lock is engaged automatically upon connection when using Eddie. You can engage it manually by clicking the appropriate button and then connect manually after that. Not quite sure what you mean with "either this or that", you can connect with or without NetLock.

I did all wrong then. I have installed OpenVPN, following some guides I found useful... first I used to run the open VPN from the tray and then lock in Eddie
So, to be exact, what I need is EDDIE only!
Lock, and after that connect, and that's it. Right? No open VPN is involved. Can I uninstall it then?
Runs smoothly right now and the kill switch is active. Fantastic.

Yes, you can. Eddie ships its own OpenVPN build.

Though, NetLock is engaged automatically before connection, so no need to do this manually. :)
