notepad-plus-plus.org is it just me, or is everyone

For months or years, I have not been able to to reach notepad-plus-plus.org (Notepad++) application update check or web browser,and I've come across random other sites too that I can't remember. I even opened a ticket and was dismissed because the section: 'Servers~Check Route' shows connected.  I don't know if it is really representative of user-side. Here's what I have done:

• Checked DNS blocking settings
• Made sure to regenerate config files
• Tried different european servers and USA servers.
• Tried on multiple iOS devices
• AirVPN resolved IP for Notepad++ seems to be owned by AirVPNs service provider or Datacenter???

Windows:

• Manually tried various DNS servers manually on client (1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, 9.9.9.9, dnscrypt,....)
• Tried adding the valid Notepad++ IP address to the Hosts file

I think that might be all of it from what I can remember ATM

All these address reply to ping fine...

I never faced this problem and I am using this app, regularly updating over AirVPN without any problems. Maybe try emptying your local DNS resolver cache?

Remove it from there. Connect to an affected server, then in a CMD or PowerShell:

> nslookup notepad-plus-plus.org.

Disconnect and do the same. Post both outputs, please.

Now non-VPN and it resolves fine (which is using my internal DNS server that just pulls from 9.9.9.9) and I can get to the NPP site just fine.  I acknowledge the IP differences may just be NPP's service provider servicing different regions, but either way I can never get to the NPP site.

Hmm. All IP addresses belong to Hostinger in different regions, so you definitely are directed to the correct place. Not quite sure what's up here.

Hostinger is becoming more and more a pain in the ass.  Wasted many hours in their chat trying to get access to my sites hosted by them.  All were returning a "403" and the only solution they come up with is to turn off VPN.

edit:
As the issue turned up again today I'm in the middle of a conversation with them, again.  Now they suggest to switch to VPS in stead of shared hosting.  Of course they do!  It's a much more expensive plan!  But they're right.  I may just switch to VPS.  Just not at Hostinger.
