Air's staff does have a few routing servers to get around basic geo-blocking and anti-VPN restrictions (scroll down to ROUTING https://airvpn.org/status/ ). However Netflix has been very tough even on VPNs that specifically try to enable Netflix through their servers. You didn't say if it worked or not, but I would be very surprised if it did.
