ANSWERED Wireguard network manager gateway

Does anyone have any idea what the Gateway is? I'm copying the conf info into the Linux Network Manager but there is no gateway info in the conf.

There's a Wireguard tab there in your NetworkManager. Does that not accept the .conf file?  I'm not experienced with Wireguard in NM in particular, but generally Wireguard configuration is completely self contained, and you shouldn't need enter to anything anywhere else.

How wireguard is setup there I don't know for sure but on pfsense the gateway is the same as the interface address which is 10.144.77.131 for you in the screenshot.

OPNSense recommends to set gateway to IP lower by 1 than your interface address. Not sure if that applies to NM.

Save yourself the trouble of fine-tuning Wireguard in the GUI; simply import it with nmcli:.
