OpenSourcerer 1435 Posted ... As this suggests a problem with the dedicated server software rather than anything from AirVPN, I'm moving this to Off-Topic. 48 minutes ago, ARPANET+ said: the point is that the game server choice the wrong nic adapter to bind the ip correctly. You can hope that someone else with experience setting up this dedicated server chimes in. Otherwise I'd direct you to other specialized resources for this game. Stalinium 44 Posted ... I think this is what network priority is for in Windows. You had to enable the menu bar by pressing ALT, then Advanced -> Advanced Settings. Bring the OpenVPN network adapter to the top and see if it changes UT's selection. Relevant words: LAN wrong network selection by game server Quote Share this post Link to post
ARPANET+ 2 Posted ... hi, i can go in advanced settings but cannot see nothing you show in your screenshot.. as example i cannot see air vpn tap in the adapters list ect... i see only web client network + windows microsoft network and host provider network remote desktop thank you Quote Share this post Link to post
Stalinium 44 Posted ... I see it was removed in later Windows 10 updates. Judging by the two articles, all it did was to change the interface's metric (how costly a path would be, if started from that network interface). Low cost is preferred. See the two guides:https://www.ghacks.net/2021/11/09/how-to-change-network-adapter-priorities-on-windows-11/https://www.isunshare.com/windows-10/change-network-connection-priority-in-windows-10.html Before you change the metric to a lower value by following the instructions, please run "route -4 print" and figure out what's the metric for your LAN interface connections and the VPN (OpenVPN-TAP) connections. My name is different because I followed a guide on the forums to create a custom name. Quote Share this post Link to post

Stalinium 44 Posted ... You can send me "route -4 print" output in PM, remove unique identifiers like adapter names, MAC addresses. To see what it looks like on your system. Have you tried to search for UT server guides for Hamachi/Tunngle etc? The exact same problem Quote Share this post Link to post
ARPANET+ 2 Posted ... hello and a big thank you to you guyz helping to fix the UT3 issue... about "route -4 print" output seem something to do with linux based os ? ordering the nics in advanced settings is not possible under latest win 10 x64 os...in that case i was able to fix it from time. btw i appreciate your support 🙂 Quote Share this post Link to post
