IP address not changed on Ubuntu

I am trying to use AirVPN on Ubuntu 22.04. I exported the OVPN files for LInux, UDP and selected countries.
I go to Configuration > Network, I add the configuration from the files but when I connect, even if it shows connected and I can see myself connected in the AirVPN user area, a myip search still reveals my real IP.
What is going on?

OpenVPN itself does not prevent leaks or anything. You will need to ensure yourself whether DNS and IP leaks are mitigated. In this regard, using the Eddie AirVPN might be easier for you.
