Port forwarding help

Is there something to be set in the desktop client after creating a port forward online? I can't seem to get it to open (for torrents)

In the torrent client, yes – the actual port you forwarded, and probably the interface the clients should listen on.

Oh... oh! That's weird, the client has a green light, but when I try canyouseeme.org it says it's not open. So, I should disregard that and consider it ok then?

Does the torrent client give you a green light? Do peers appear with an I flag in the peer list?
