Specefied location way off on some servers?

As an example:

AirVPN_CA-Toronto-Ontario_Tegmen_UDP-443.ovpn --> DuckDuckGo shows my IP as Sycheles, Africa

AirVPN_US-NewYorkCity-NewYork_Lich_UDP-443.ovpn --> DuckDuckGo shows my IP as New Jersey, USA.

I'm confused, these are not double-hop VPNs, so my IP should at least show up as the state I am trying to connect to. Connecting from Africa is sure to freak out most websites. What gives?

Did you check other GeoIP databases to verify your findings? ip-api.com for example.
