Eddie 2.18.9 on Yosemite 10.10.5

tried to get Eddie working on Yosemite 10.10.5. Used the portable version to be able to test multiple versions of Eddie easily.

(1) v2.19.2 beta
does not work, throws object permission error on start of Eddie.

how can I resolve this ?

(2) v2.18.9 (latest stable as of 2020.04.20)
goes into endless connect/disconnect/reconnect loop
logs show the reason is this error:
OpenVPN > /Applications/Eddie.app/Contents/MacOS/liblzo2.2.dylib: code signature invalid for '/Applications/Eddie.app/Contents/MacOS/liblzo2.2.dylib'

how can I resolve this ?

other users have reported this in the past, but no solution was posted.

(3) v2.16.3 (stable from 2018-10)

works just fine.

i just tested it today again to take the screenshot, and the error was not thrown this time by 2.19.2 beta... running it right now w/o any issues...

Another odd thing I can report is that the latency value in the GUI seems to be off...

on 2.19.2 beta, I saw a latency value for a server close to my location stated as 73ms, which I knew was too high. Closed 2.19.2 beta, opened 2.16.3 and same server now stated with 2ms latency...
