Erm, I've never seen Eddie creating a plugins directory..
What's your version, to which version are you updating and where do you download that update?

Four simple things:
There's a guide to AirVPN. Before you ask questions, take 30 minutes of your time to go through it.

Amazon IPs are not dangerous here. It's the fallback DNS.
Running TOR exits is discouraged. They're subject to restrictions on the internet and harm all AirVPN users.

Furthermore, I propose that your paranoia is to be destroyed. If you overdo privacy, you'll be unique among the mass again.

You didn't answer all my questions, but no matter. Backup your airvpn.xml file, uninstall Eddie, download it from AirVPN and install it. Then restore the config file.
As I don't use Windows, I can't say where that file is. It's in my user directory on Linux, it might also be there for you or in %APPDATA%.

I've been trying to find out where that directory might be coming from. On a Windows 8.1 VM I've tested a standard OpenVPN with GUI installation to discover no such directory and also installed and downloaded the regular and portable Eddie editions and discovered again no such directory. It therefore might be coming from another program. Try disabling antivirus and firewall solutions or any program you think might interfere with it.
