Connection keeps dropping when I wake from sleep

Hello,

Every time I wake the computer from sleep it never connects, well it tries to connect but it fails and keeps trying over and over. I need to click "Cancel" and then click "Connect". I attached the log to see if you guys can help me figure out the issue. It happens on two different computers, so I think is either Windows issue or config issue.

I distinctly recall threads from years ago where people noticed odd behavior of Eddie and OpenVPN in general after resuming from standby. I'm like 50% sure Staff or one of the coders either addressed this or explained why it's difficult to make it done. The preference was of course to avoid standby while connected.

But there's one line which is repeated quite often.

E 2019.05.03 19:52:36 - Fatal error occured, please contact Eddie support: The requested protocol has not been configured into the system, or no implementation for it exists -    at System.Net.NetworkInformation.SystemIPInterfaceProperties.GetIPv6Properties()

What is your Eddie setting regarding what to do with v4 and v6 traffic? Is IPv6 enabled on your machine, or, does it have IPv6 addresses?

Try setting "Internet Protocol used for connection" to "IPv4 only". You're blocking IPv6, so Eddie might check whether IPv6 is available since you want it to connect via it when IPv4 fails.

I tried your suggested changes and I am still getting this error:

Hm, pity. Let's see what other users say. Maybe try support as well. 😕
