Cannot send emails with air VPN IP address

My ip provider-optimum-will not let me send new emails when using air vpn address.  When I try to send new emails thru optimum I get an error message- cannot send an email from this address.  This has been going on for a long time.  Would greatly appreciate any help you can give me.  Many thanks.  THE DUCK

It's stated in the specifications that outbound port 25 is blocked to prevent spam.

Chances are that you won't be able to send emails from any IP that is not from this ISP.

Some residential ISPs do that (questionable tactic, but there is logic behind it) in order to reduce spam relaying

from their networks, and in this case it seems to be the reason.

 

ISP emails are somewhat a a 90s thing, today most users have "the top 5" mail providers which also gives you

more freedom in case you choose to switch ISPs.
