I don't know what is going on and im so confused. I don't know anything about this stuff. All I want to do is to play black ops 4 on my COMPUTER but my NAT type is strict and since I live in a college dorm I can't change it. I heard online if I use a vpn and portforward I can bypass this so I bought airvpn but for the life of me I can't get it to work. I go to client area and portforward and get a random port but once I get the port and test it it fails for some reason. my firewall is disabled but it just WONT WORK AAAAAAH

Give some more details on what ports you've opened, including if you specified a local port, and what port your game is listening on.

 

My guess is that you haven't told the game to listen on the port that AirVPN has opened for you.

 

Furthermore, unless your game can tell your buddies what internet facing port (that of the VPN server) to connect to, it still won't work.
