yepper 4 Posted ... OpenDNS has a setting to block a web address domain. Is there a way to enter a desired URL to block with the stock DNS used by AirVPN? Or would I have to set an override to the DNS settings used by AirVPN to OpenDNS in my VPN client to do that? If so, are there any shortcomings to switching my AirVPN connection to using OpenDNS? yepper 4 Posted ... When I enter the OpenDNS addresses into Eddie (for Android on a firestick gen 2) > Settings > Override VPN DNS > Custom DNS as:208.67.222.222,208.67.220.220...it puts up an error message, "Please enter a valid IP address."Huh? Quote Share this post Link to post

yepper 4 Posted ... ^ Nope, same with one IP address. First time I've used Eddie. Seems awfully flaky on my firestick, e.g., disconnects the VPN connection several times a day seemingly spontaneously. (Yes, despite my having the settings for not pausing during device sleep, and persistent.) Yet my OpenVPN for Android app has been solid as a rock with my AirVPN configs; thinking I may stick with that. Quote Share this post Link to post
