Where am I actually shows where I am

So one would think with being behind a VPN and connected to a different state that you would show up in said state. Yet with visiting https://ctrlq.org/maps/where/

I'm instead shown exactly where I am. Surely this isn't normal?

Whatsmyip.org shows I'm in Phoenix.

Don't think it matters much if it's set to where the vpn is as long as it's not my damn house. LOL Thanks for that extension. Don't know if I could have actually been tracked or not the way it was since my IP showed me in Phoenix but still. I feel a little better anyway knowing I come up at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, TX now instead of 30 minutes away at my actual house which is what it was showing.

That's a good one maybe I should put the Pentagon or Area 51. hmmmm I was trying to keep my browser thinking I'm still in the general DFW area for all the places I go that actually need my proper location or it messes with things. I sure didn't want my physical address coming up though which it was.

Connected to Aludra server shows the same. All Quintex servers pointed->to California-> but showed the same "The White House".

I think that website showing Washington DC is a problem with the website itself, not the VPN servers. I tried going to that website on some Phoenix servers and they also said that I was in the White House
