Okay. Try using the newest version of Eddie and Tails, and if all fails, try a connection through vanilla openvpn. Report back if you find something.

Generally, I'd say there is a firewall in your way, most probably on Tails itself. I'm not too familiar with Tails although it's based on Debian. Maybe someone else got something you could try.

Thanks for your effort.  Just update tails latest version 3.8, and none of three alternatives work :

- deb package successfull installed with dependancies -> same log error

-portable package without mono -> same log error

-portable package with mono -> same log error

I think i could't use openvpn because i need "vpn over tor" connection, and if i had understood well from https://airvpn.org/tor/

the only possibility to do that is the mandatory use of eddie-client (which talk to torcontrols).

Maybe i can use eddie Command line interface, but from what you have said in the other thread, i can't obtain "vpn over tor" from command line.

So seems that we can't do nothing on tails to use AirVpn service.

I also tried to use Eddie on TAILS (3.8) per forum suggestions, unfortunately with no success. Too bad . . . Maybe it'd be overkill; but, it would seem that using Eddie/AirVPN service on TAILS would be pretty robust security.

No, I've not tried anything - not tech-savvy enough.
