Exposed by Facebook/Twitter, any login site?

Once I have connected to the VPN and have confirmed I'm secure with various tests do I lose everything by logging in to facebook? It seems like it would be possible to match the IP that hit my facebook account with other activity happening with that IP at the same time. Am I thinking about it the wrong way or are any sites you have to log in at a bad idea?

Anyone logged in to the same VPN server as you will also be showing the same IP. So the best anyone can do is say "Bob logged into his facebook site with IP x.x.x.x. Then someone at x.x.x.x download a boatload of goat-porn."

But there are other users on x.x.x.x at the same time, so it could have been any one of you on the server at that time. Yes, it COULD have been you, but it could have been any of them also.

Note: I have no idea if your name is Bob. I also don't know if you like goat-porn.
