Wireshark sees my real ip

So Me and my friend was messing around with wireshark, and he called me over steam while I had my vpn on. The problem is that my real ip and the vpn ip was both showing. Does this mean that my vpn is leaking or what is the deal?

You probably have eddie setup to allow local network traffic, so you local ip would be visible in and only in your local network.

how do I change this? I would rather not have people to know my real ip

Try in Eddie options, uncheck network lock =>  allow lan/private.
