need help with portforwarding

Hi,

 

When testing the port, make sure a program is up and listening to the local port you've set up. Also check your firewall isn't blocking.

I feel your pain. I went through a long, lonely nightmare with the online tester on the port forwarding page until I found this little gadget here that helped immensely.

It's been awhile since all this happened so I can't give you any tips on how to use it. All I remember is that 10 minutes after I started fooling with it, my ports were being properly forwarded.
