Easiest way to set up VPN with torrent

Just want to download a couple torrent files through a vpn. I saw a guide here for using air VPNs just with torrents, but it looked pretty complicated and more useful for doing it long term. I literally want to "turn on" the vpn, download a couple files and then turn it off, and probably won't use it again for a while. I only need it for one device (windows 10 PC) what's the simplest way to do this, do I need to do the entire torrent guide or can I more easily just apply the VPN to my entire PC for a couple hours, then turn it back off?

Yes, turn on the network lock and connect to a server whenever you wish.  Then disconnect and close the program properly when you don't want it on.
