Attempting to make RaspberryPi torrent box, need help

Hello if any one could help out I'd appreciate it.

I have downloaded the configuration files for the servers i want to use and that all works however what i wanted to do was replicate the Network Lock function that Eddie has.

I could get none of them to work.

so how do I stop outgoing connections in case my VPN connection malfunctions on a Raspberry Pi (Rasbian-stretch)?
