Madjack918 0 Posted ... Hi ! i choose airvpn because we can easly configure the network like that: Tor -> VPN -> internet. so my ip is hidden from airvpn. i often use tails, its my first Unbuntu based OS. i know tails dont support VPN because it forced all connection to pass through Tor network and it makes VPN hard to configure.... unless you have eddie ! Yes becaus it allow Tor connection over vpn ! so normally it should work easily... BUT HOW DO WE INSTALL IT ??? i cant figure how to install a simple software on tails... i downloaded the debian package, but nothing happen... tred with the terminal: impossible to understand how it works.... so please someone can make me a tutorial to install eddie on tails ? thanks ! OpenSourcerer 1435 Posted ... tred with the terminal: impossible to understand how it works.... Open a terminal and navigate to the folder where your airvpn*.deb is. If it's on your desktop, try cd ~/Desktop Then type (and please replace airvpn.deb with the actual name of the package you downloaded) sudo dpkg -i airvpn.deb After this, do sudo apt-get -f install Alternatively, you simply do (replace airvpn.deb again) sudo gdebi airvpn.deb so please someone can make me a tutorial to install eddie on tails ? There is none because it's as simple as installing a normal .deb package with dpkg. But, here you go.
