jean claud 45 Posted ... Well since since Ios11 webrtc is implemented to the system and when u are using a vpn most of browsers are leaking your ip .You can experiment the problem on ipleak.net , whoer.net or browserleaks.com for example. These sites will be able to show two ip , the vpn ip and your real ip given by your internet provider . Browsers which doesn't leak are firefox, safari (if in settings/safari/advanced/ experimental fearures you check the option " remove webrtc legacy api") Yandex , seifnir .Are leaking : Dolphin , Opera , Ghostery , Firefox Focus etc..chrome isen't leaking but as you know chrome is a big spy Sorry mate for my awful english , but it's a tradition in my country that I must respect ) Quote Share this post Link to post
zhang888 1066 Posted ... Yandex is not a browser engine, they are all based on WebKit or Gecko. In case of Yandex it is WebKit.You are probably better with Chromium or Firefox Focus instead, unless you are from Russia, where theYandex browser is more adapted to local content and language settings. Same for Baidu browser for China. Your best option for privacy would be using vanilla versions of anything you know about. That is the onlyopen-source clean version which is sort of tracking free. All the rest will come with additional "features". 2 jean claud and justairvpnuser reacted to this Quote Hide zhang888's signature Hide all signatures Occasional moderator, sometimes BOFH.
