mordants 5 Posted ... I am on my Windows 7 Laptop, and Using Chrome.Connected to Airvpn, to any USA Server, let say in california.. I used IPleak.net to show me where I am and ensure no DNS Leak. Works fine. But when I go to https://coinatmradar.com/ as a test and say, allow location...to see where the atm boxe's are. It does not show me in california...but shows me one near my actual location... why would it do this? should the VPN not kick and show my location as in california not where I currently am? please advise Quote Share this post Link to post

But, you can spoof it with an add-on such as location guard. Otherwise I suggest you disable that setting in your browser. 1 mordants reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
mordants 5 Posted ... Thank you for the TIP. I was under the impression that if my PROXY connection or If I am connected to or through a VPN that I am physically there and therefore all any location based info, IP, geo-location should show up there. But I guess it does not work that way. I was just curious. I don't need it, something I just noticed, so figure i ask. Thanks. I will look at Location Guard and disable that option: Thank you Quote Share this post Link to post
