pfolk 6 Posted ... Hi guys, we're starting to use a Win 10 machine here... got AirVPN running on Win 7 and Win 8 boxes, all working... I noticed that with the Win 10 installer, the default behavior of Network Lock is not "Windows Firewall".. also, even when that is the selected mode, the network adapter does not seem to get modified anymore to use custom a DNS server address (10.4.0.1)... is that a bug in the installer or did the approach change on Win 10 ? Also, any other things to be aware of when using AirVPN on Win 10 ? Thanks ! Quote Share this post Link to post

pfolk 6 Posted ... thanks for the link, but no I was not referring to any of that. And as per my OP I'm not troubleshooting... AirVPN works... for now ;-) I was asking why AirVPN on the latest Eddie build default to Network Lock mode "Automatic" and not to "Windows Firewall" anymore (which used to be default approach, although u can make that setting active)... and what the difference is between these options and/or which is preferred..... (?) Thanks. Quote Share this post Link to post
