So.... Netflix not working.  Has this been a lost fight, or have we found a way around this?

Long story short, move on!

Netflix has made it very unlikely for AirVPN to find a fix.

There are numerous threads about this, look it up!

Netflix is blocking all known proxies and VPNs for streaming.

Ive had problems with Netflix as well, however I wanted to view US Netflix and got a small VPS in the New Jersey (US) (https://www.gestiondbi.com/en/), I installed Debian and an OpenVPN server. Then I added a local (New Jersey) DNS to the VPS.  I added an OpenVPN client (created on the VPS) to my Asus RT66U/Tomato Shibby.

 

I then made sure the  Apple TV was routed through that VPN. Now access to US Netflix works fine!

Not entirely sure why, although it seems that the local DNS on the VPS was the solution...
