Google is too smart ?

Hi there,

 

I live in Germany, and connect to the Internet through AirVpn, namely by the Meissa server, in Latvia.

 

When I test my IP address (through ipleak.net) I get located in ... Brazil. Why not...

 

But when I search for anything on Google, I end on google.lv   (latvia)

 

Is there any problem ? I would not had worried if I ended on google.br, although I have to wonder why I have a brazilian IP address through a latvian server...

Just maxmind database (used by ipleak.net) being outdated and google keeping up with things better.

Humans can try to influence things.

 

If I want to google for say a local business name here in Australia, I bookmark up webpage https://www.google.com.au.

If I am using Air Singapore, I get results for https://www.google.com.sg in English from www.google.com.

If I am using Air Hongkong, I get results for https://www.google.com.hk in Chinese from www.google.com.

Probably similar elsewhere.

 

Using Firefox, the WorldIP addon can often display interesting info about where things are coming from.
