ssm880426 0 Posted ... Hi everyone,I am new to VPN and have followed all the steps in the instruction setting up VPN. I currently use VPN through my DD-WRT router. I have set up exact configuration AirVPN recommended me to do for DD-WRT. I am getting the following results: Down: 19.032 Mbit/s Out, 7.949 Mbit/s In (41%), 20MB - Up: 4.297 Mbit/s Out, 3.908 Mbit/s In (90%), 20MB - Date: Fri, 14 Apr 2017 15:33:45 GMT - Buffers: 20MB/20MB - Laps: 3, Time: 171.47 secs Why is my In-Tunnel speed so low? I was expecting maybe 80-90% but 41%? I tried changing the ports, but nothing helps. Any comments? Quote Share this post Link to post

Also, you might want to use other speed tests. The one on this site doesn't usually show your max potential. Quote Share this post Link to post
kiwi 16 Posted ... check your cpu load (router) while doing the speed test. i have a synology ds 214 running the vpn with speeds ~ 30 mbit/s of 100.on my pc (intel i7 4 x 3,4 ghz) running eddie i get over 90 of 100.of course it also depends on the server you are using. greets 1 Wolf666 reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
