expo-1951 0 Posted ... Hi, I run Linux Mint 17 with Network Manager Openvpn. The problem I'm having is connecting with the imported configuration files. In each file the remote is an ip address and port, this refuses to connect, giving a timeout error. I've d/l'd several different config files and they all give the same error. I solved the issue by changing the remote ip address to the hostname of the country/server. Can anyone tell me why this happens, saving me the annoyance of having to change each file before importing? Quote Share this post Link to post
nick75 25 Posted ... Hi, As indicated here, there is a problem with network-manager in Ubuntu 14.04 and consequently Linux Mint 17.You should install AirVPN's app Eddie, easier and more user-friendly (or upgrade to LM18). Quote Share this post Link to post
