Hello ,after all the problem I have had with using open vpn on my linux system I finally want to try to use eddie,I have been paranoid to use a download software but now I want to try. Is there some information buried here or stickied to see how to install and use eddie on linux mint?

Eddie standallone,without the installing,works oke.Just click on airvpn in the dir and fill your user/pass and pick a server.

I know that shall be an utterly noob question, but still: how to launch eddie client on ubuntu (14.04 lts)? Please, please, please step by step. I already did commands like: ./airvpn, sudo ./airvpn, airvpn, chmod +x airvpn and all the above, none works. I know it's simple, but just can't get it. Thanks!

Or presumably you just do openvpn <AirVPN.conf>..
