Downloading very slow now

Hey i was at a friends house trying to figure out if i could connect with my laptop to his sisters 4g wifi connection, and i was messing around with random settings on my computer to try to get it to work. when i got back home and tried torrenting i've only been able to get 500kps - 1mbps when i normally get 3mbps? i don't entirely remember what settings i changed but i think the TAP driver, and random ipv4 and ipv6 settings were what i was messing around with. seems like a long shot but if i could get some help i'd appreciate it

Part of the learning process, isn't it? If you were messing with random settings to break something, maybe messing with random settings again will fix it.

 

Try Windows' System Restore feature.

Reinstall TAP.

Use tools like TCP Optimizer to get back to default TCP/IP settings. Execute as admin.
