This is a conspiracy theory, not evidence.

You can "force" any large corporation make DNS lookups of any domain name.

All it takes is sending large volumes of spam with fake "From" address, and the target mail systems will connect to that spoofed domain

asking for a TXT record in order to match it to the Sender Policy Framework for spam evaluation.

 

Even a full TCP connection is not enough evidence to establish a real link between 2 companies.
