In the podcast of Security now nr.593  ,Steve mentioned the relation between captcha`s and google.

If you using Tor,you know captcha  can be very annoying ; for me shift-cntrl-l until they let me trough without captcha.I know the key combi doesn`t work on every site,but can be useful.

Dallas servers getting captcha from google searches now.  very annoying.

Perhaps with a little effort,you can without google... .For me startpage search engine give the same result.Etc etc.

startpage works again?  some time ago it seemed their information was becoming outdated.

Here is a better solution. DO NOT USE GOOGLE. Just that simple.

https://duckduckgo.com

https://www.ixquick.com/eng/

 

Those both work. Basically nothing from Google is worth supporting them.


Debugging is at least twice as hard as writing the program in the first place.

So if you write your code as clever as you can possibly make it, then by definition you are not smart enough to debug it.

Unfortunately google search is superior to all others.  I use self destructing cookies and other privacy add-ons so I feel that I'm not being taken for a ride when using them.  But, as long as they serve me 10 captchas I'll just use startpage.
