Hi all,

Wondering if some of you folks can help me here. I've got a Dual Wan load balance setup and I'm wondering if Air VPN supports this.

Setup is

Virgin Media - Cable

Zen Internet - ADSL

Both these are in modem mode going into my Asus RT-AC3200...I'm wondering if I configure the OpenVPN in my Asus Router (Running latest Merlin 380.63_2 // 12-Nov-2016) to work with this dual wan setup.

I've ran the airvpn client on a windows 10 machine and I mainly get good speeds (180Mb via the single VM connection), but when i try to run it through the Asus router, I get no more than about 20Mb

probably better to ask these questions at the asus-merlin forums http://www.snbforums.com/forums/asuswrt-merlin.42/ since they are technical questions about your router and not really AirVPN specific.

I think your router should be able to do better than 20mbit/s (60mbit/s is my guess at max possible) but first make sure there's not another bottleneck in the path from you to the server.  Have you tried testing from a PC using Eddie?

Hi,

I'll be sure to ask there too.

As I mentioned above, I've tried the software direct to the computer and speeds....most of the time are ok...Do seem to fluctuate very wildly though over numerous servers.
