WAN Ip address

Hi,

 

I use a DD-WRT router.  Is there any reason why my WAN IP address as shown in the GUI control panel, is different to the IP address as reported by various sites, e.g. whatismyipaddress.com/

 

I'm not particular knowledgeable when it comes to technical network discussions

your router will show your WAN IP, as you've read.  That's the IP address that your ISP assigns you.

 

web sites will report the IP address of the AirVPN server.

 

check ipleak.net (an AirVPN site) to make sure everything is working properly.
