Remote VPN Server (IP or DNS host): what do i enter here?

 

Authentication type: is it TLS username/password (if so is this my log in details for airvpn?) or is it TLS client.crt/client key

For remoe VPN server, you need to use the DNS name provided in the AirVPN config file.  For example, the UK pool of servers can be accessed by the name gb.vpn.airdns.org

 

Authentication is TLS cert and key. The cert and key are generated when you use the config generator (accessed from Client Area on this site).

Yes i did but i set it up for the american server as i need it for the nbc sports app

 

The only thing i ticked was american server

it's best to put in the IP address of the server you want to use so that no DNS resolution is required to connect.

 

yes, go to the config generator to get an ovpn file with the data you'll need.  I'm guessing you'll need to look at the extended configuration there.  I don't see where you'll input the certs and keys on that screenshot.
