jamilgregory 0 Posted ... I am struggling to successfully edit the openvpn config file generated in the client area to successfully use the script here:http://brianhornsby.com/blog/how-to-setup-your-vpn-clientIn the guide it suggests editing the file to point to a password but AirVPN seems to use a key instead. Any help would be appreciated. Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1441 Posted ... PIA might use auth-user-pass, AirVPN does not.You don't even have to edit anything, just skip steps 4, 5 and 6. OpenSourcerer 1441 Posted ... Mr. m2110k, I want to understand the reason you post it here when you already opened a similar topic. You could just go on and post it there (since it's your topic). A better way is to open an entirely new topic. Consider that in the future. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. m2110k 0 Posted ... That is strange. I thought that post never got published, after it went for approval. I remember checking it again but did not find it. Anyways, this is a different issue. Since Feb, I was able to use AirVPN via OpenVPN in Ubuntu armhf. I followed the instructions in this post. https://airvpn.org/topic/11432-using-airvpn-with-ubuntu-network-manager/However 2 weeks ago, ubuntu has been updated to 16.04 LTS. Strangely now VPN connects but there is no DNS. I have mentioned details in above post. It is a fresh Ubuntu install on raspberry pi 3. Could you help me find what may be the issue.
