Air vpn stopped working with UDP only TCP

Hello,

 

I got strange problem, since 3 days my airvpn will connect using udp but I can only ping(icmp) and resolv dns, using tcp - everything works. Checked with openwrt router, linux computer and windows with eddie (dies on checking route).

 

Anyone got some idea whats going on?

Full logs would give us more information than that. With this specific error, timestamps are also important. It also doesn't hurt to look at your OS and software versions. Please post the full logs into spoiler tags, for which a how-to is in my sugnature.

You could try disabling the route check first and see if you can connect and access the internet through AirVPN. This is done in Preferences > Advanced. Browse to ipleak.net to check your connectivity.

Second measure would be to try a downgrade of your TAP driver. Solved such issues for a few users. A How-To can be found in my signature.

I was going to link a thread as the third measure but it applies to route checks failing and not timing out.

 

Report if something helped or the issue still persists.

OK, thank you for replaying but downgrading tap driver want solve this, as I stated before same thing happen on router (openwrt) and debian. I will check disable route check just to see more logs, guessing i get the same state as on openwrt - that i will be able to ping and traceroute (so i am sure that packets are routed thru airvpn) but without ability to browse internet, conclusion tco inside tunnel not working, didnt check udp, icmp also ok.

One more clue - this happen sometime in wensday night or thursday morrning.

 

I can use air with TCP openvpn - works decent, but this problem with UDP drives me crazy:/
