OpenSourcerer 1441 Posted ... Can you try a TAP driver downgrade? In Eddie, disable the automatic driver upgrade in the settings. Go to the OpenVPN software update release page and download TAP 9.9.2_3.exe. Uninstall your old driver and reboot. Install 9.9, launch Eddie and try to connect to any server. Paste logs again if it fails. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. It gives me a message on start up in the system tray, that OpenVPN driver is missing, this does not apply when im using the latest version.Im using avast, it should not block it in anyway, ive had it working for 3 months straight, also its allowed in the Windows Firewall. I tried looking in my task bar, i got no OpenVPN.exe running. Besides our convasation im having an open ticket whit the support team. They had me trying to delete the AirVPN.xlm file. This is my response to them:"I now tried that, it dint work, so i tried to reinstall AirVPN. When i did that i noticed that som files stayed there, i manuel deleted them, but the OpenVPN.exe i could not delete as it told me that "OpenVPN deamon is running". Reinstalled got the new XLM, still dosent work. Its like the OpenVPN deamon is trapped in some kind of limbo." Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1441 Posted ... I did a bit of searching here and on the internet, the best I could find is a thread in the OpenVPN forums suggesting two things:Update the driver to a more recent one.Check the write permissions to the OpenVPN directories.Try a portable version of Eddie run from your desktop.
