rpare001 1 Posted ... Hi all, I'm new to AirVPN, and so far things seem to be working pretty well. I switched over from PIA as my annual payment was coming up and wanted to switch from a UK-based service. Anyways, I installed AirVPN and everything seems to work fine expect that some IP sites are reporting my accurate location and ISP while others are reporting the server in the Netherlands that I am connected to. For example, ipleak.net reports that I am connected from the Netherlands and reports a Dutch ISP, while whatismyipaddress.com is reporting the correct location and ISP that I am using. I never encountered this issue with PIA before, and I was wondering if someone could assist in helping me figure out how to solve it. I am currently using Windows 7 if that helps. Thank you very much in advance and please excuse my ignorance if this is something that I could have easily solved myself. Quote Share this post Link to post

rpare001 1 Posted ... hey everyone, thanks for the replies. I believe the IPv6 suggestion is correct; all the sites that report my correct location state that they are reporting IPv6. Anyway to address this? Its not a huge issue, but it is something I would like to take care of if possible. Quote Share this post Link to post

pj 72 Posted ... Problem solved; disabled my IPv6 in my network connection. Hi, can you please tell me whether you're running Eddie (the Air client) to connect to VPN servers? I ask because Eddie, by default, must disable IPv6 in your system, unless you specifically configured it not to do it. If you needed to manually disable IPv6 even if you run Eddie, can you please post the Eddie logs of a connection as soon as it is established ("Logs" -> "Copy to clipboard" then paste in the message)?
