VPN and socks

Probably a stupid question.

But I am running Eddie on my client and configured my browser (firefox) with a SOCKS proxy I found online.

 

Is it safe to use it or not?

Everything goes through the vpn right?

Why would you need a proxy if all your traffic is routed through AirVPN? Keep in mind that your data goes through the proxy, and the proxy server is the one you need to trust in this case. So all in all, I don't think this is safe.
