TitiFranzela 0 Posted ... Hello.First of all i'm kind of a newbie in this area. I've downloaded and unpacked airvpn client, run it but nothing happens. I've tried with .deb version and both portable versions(i have mono installed). Any thoughts? I'm using Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon. Thanks. Quote Share this post Link to post

Member 0 Posted ... Hi,just to confirm that the client worked 'out of the box' also for me. I've just subscribed, I'm running a fresh new Mint 17.3 and i installed the client (.deb) with gdebi. So far very satisfied also by the general performance in terms of speed. One issue: I'm wondering if i can integrate the client in the Mint Panel, like the Mint 'Update manager' or 'Network Manager'. Member 0 Posted ... Thanks Snapz. Actually I did differently, and I integrated the AirVPN client in the systray with kdocker. This has generated two problems: 1. a series of notifications of cinnamon (1 per second) PARTLY SOLVED by disabling system-wide notifications; 2. I do not have an icon file for AirVPN that fits the systray, the one provided works well in the Panel but it does not appear in the systray. Still looking for a solution.
